The same fab friend that allowed me to {reincarnate} her coffee table also trusted me with creating her grown-up headboard! This was a fun challenge and I happily took it on.
I had recently found a king headboard at a deal that I could not pass up. Despite the faux-bois-esque fabric and purple-ish cording, I knew that in time, either someone would need it or I would revamp it and use it myself. Not two weeks after I found it, it had a future home (and a gorgeous one at that)!

I un-upholstered it (very labor intensive) in preparation for re-upholstering. I stripped it down to the frame, replaced the rubber (padding) and worked my way out from there. For the final touch, we added a nailhead trim detail.

The fabric she chose was a beautiful textured natural color that played off the inspiration pillow very well. The nailheads have a French Natural finish.

The simple bedding she chose works perfectly and it all came together very nicely, dont you think!?
Since I took up so much time yesterday, I kept this short-and-sweet! I hope you have a wonderful weekend doing whatever it is that makes you giddy!
