How to Build a Childs Picnic Table

| |
Its official. I have spring fever. Its only January.

Jeff and I spent the weekend building and finishing this sweet little picnic table and it has me longing for pretty spring days. I already have a few on order to be given as gifts for mothers day, birthdays, and just because, which makes me think I am not the only one around with "the bug". These would also be great gifts for the grandparents!

We made this one especially for the Bid for Our Kids Auction at First Presbyterian Preschool where Grace Anne goes to school a couple of days a week. It is such a precious little school filled with wonderful people so we were pleased to build it as our family contribution.

The scale is perfect for children - overall dimensions are 35-1/2" W x 33" D x 20" H.

Since this is not only to raise funds for the school but to promote this little "business" I have, I finished it in the ever-popular Tuscan finish, also seen Here.

See! Perfect fit!

I would be honored to build one for you but if you are the DIY-type, take a peek at my how-to drawings below. If you take it on, I would love to see photos of your finished product!
