Ballard Designs Console Table From Green ish to Gray ish Paint with Antiquing Glaze

This lovely piece was from Ballard Designs and lived happily in its original state for years. True to Ballard style, it was well designed and had a beautiful finish. But after a while, the owner needed a change and hired me to take the finish from "green-ish" to "gray-ish". We liked the look of the original finish and the style of the piece, but needed to change its tone. I went with a gray undertone and topped it with an antique glaze. We modernized it a bit by painting the inside a crisp white. We added more detail by lining the drawers with a coordinating paper.
